It’s been a life changing start to the year for me. I’ve been working towards a major life change which has been in the making for the past 2 years.
I started my business 12 years ago. 2 years ago I had a real moment of clarity. I had worked my butt off and been completely consumed in making my business work which was intense, challenging, immersive and good fun all at the same time.
2 years ago I had a moment of real clarity. I realised I am not getting any younger and that time is finite for all of us. Obvious right? But because of things that were happening in my life, this realisation slapped me around the face…hard!!
I decided to make a very specific goal and this goal became my absolute focus. Having a specific goal seemed to sharpen everything up and now not only was I working hard but I experienced a whole new level of motivation.
The start of this year I have achieved this goal. I have moved out of the flat I lived in for 21 years with my husband. We have relocated to a new country and most important of all I have the dog I have longed for my entire life.
My goals may not sound much to you but to me they are everything.
The next step is to elevate our lives to a slower pace of life but to continue to grow our finances so that we can afford to do the things we want to do.
We are no Apple or Amazon but what started as a small idea has grown into a successful business and we intend to keep on growing.
